Christmas

Christmas was extra special this year because we had our beautiful daughter to share it with us!  This was Emma's first official Christmas!  She seemed to really love it!  Who could blame her?  She enjoyed opening up all her presents, watching her brothers open up their presents, playing with her new kitchen, and zooming around in her new cars!  We went to our best friends house for Christmas eve dinner.  They have the most amazing tree ever!  It is huge and completely filled with lights and ornaments!  Emma was amazed just looking at it!  Emma opened up her first official Christmas presents there at her "tia's" house.  She received four pairs of high heeled shoes, a baby doll, and a stroller.  It was too cute to watch her push that baby doll in her "high" heels!

The following morning we opened up presents here at our house then ventured onto my moms house.  Nana had a delicious breakfast prepared for all of us.  Then we opened up some more presents at her house.  Emma received even more high heeled shoes and another baby doll with a stroller.  She also received a battery operated car.  She really likes it... however, she can't steer so you better watch OUT!

That night we went back to Nana's house for dinner.  We were so excited because my sister and her family had just come in from NY for a five day visit!  This was the first time Emma met her aunt, uncle, and cousins- except her cousin Rachel who she met over the summer.

All the kids had a wonderful evening.  Of course Rachel came home with us and stayed the next five nights along with her brothers Zach and Matthew!  Everyone had a blast!  It was so nice having my sister and her kids here with us for the holidays!

With our best friends Christmas eve.  Can you believe we were all wearing
red?  Great minds think alike! Look how HUGE this tree is!

Gangnam Style BABY

So since the Gangnam Style video came out, my boys have listened and watched the video quite often.  So you can only imagine how many times Emma has seen it as well.  From the first time she saw the video, she absolutely loved it!  She just started dancing around to it!  And what is so hilarious is that she is actually doing the moves that are in the video!  I finally was able to catch her doing it just a little bit last night while we were all watching the Dick Clark's New Years Rockin Eve Show.  Enjoy!

Honor Roll Assembly

I am SOOOOOO proud of my two boys!  They both made honor roll for the 1st nine weeks of school!

Noah made superior honor roll!  He had ALL "A's" and only 1 "B."   He is really enjoying being in middle school!  Plus, he was choosen to be student representative for his homeroom! He also made the swim team.  He had his first meet last weekend and did pretty well for his first official race!

Adam made principals honor roll!   He made straight "A's" on his report card!  He was also chosen from his class to be the student of the month!  Pretty impressive!

Both boys  tried out for a swim team last week.  They both made it and are now swimming a minimum of 3 times per week!  They both seem to really enjoy it!  What great exercise as well!

We are so honored and blessed to have these boys as our sons!  We love you very much!!!!!

Keep up the great work!!!

Meeting Santa

Last week we took Emma to meet Santa for the very first time.  We are friendly with another little girl named Emma who has met Santa quite a few times already and loved him!  So I kept showing my little Emma the picture of her friend sitting on Santa's lap so that hopefully she would get the "idea."  It was finally our turn to meet Santa.... at first Emma wasn't so sure.  He gave her brothers high fives and then her.  After that, she was pretty okay with him.  She sat on his lap and played around with some bells he had attached to his waist.  He even gave her a candy cane.  I was pretty happy with the pictures- all I really wanted was for her NOT to be scared and start crying.

                                             Isn't this Santa beautiful?
