Fathers Day- JUST A Bit Late

I know this post is SUPER late!  I almost forgot about it!This was Emma's first Fathers Day!  Our family went out to breakfast in the morning.  After, we went shopping at Publix for our Fathers Day barbecue.  In the late afternoon, my mom, my dad, and our best friends came over for a barbecue.  Everyone had a great time!  We are so happy Emma was able to celebrate this special day with her very own "daddy!"  Enjoy the pictures!

4th of July

We had a very nice 4th of July!  In the morning we went to the park- boy was it HOT!  Then in the afternoon, we went over to my good friends house for swimming and a barbecue!  All the kids had alot of fun swimming, eating, and watching the fireworks show in the evening!  Emma was not scared at all!  She just watched in fascination as the fireworks lit up the sky!  I don't have the pictures from the afternoon as I forgot to put the battery in my camera!  *#$*  
I will be getting the pictures from my friends camera soon.  However, I do have two pictures that I took of Emma at the park in the morning.  Hope everyones 4th was great! 

On another note- Sherri- I cannot get into your blog anymore! Help!

Punta Cana Vacation Days 5, 6, 7, and 8

So on the evening of the 4th day we were all having dinner when I noticed Emma's glossy eyes.  I felt her forhead and of course it was hot.  I took her back to the room to check her temperature- 102!  I gave her some motrin and went back to eat dinner with her.  Day 5 we took lots of pictures on the beach and garden areas!  They came out BEAUTIFUL!  The rest of the trip was "downhill" for the two of us.  The motrin was helping her to feel better, however on the evening of day 5 she now had a temperature of 103 and would literally scream whenever she tried to eat or drink something.  We took her to the doctor at the hotel... she had an ear infection and strep throat!  Unbelievable!  We were given antibiotics and ear drops for her.  Day 6 and 7 our whole group continued going to the beach and pool while Emma and I just kind of hung out!  Finally on day 8 which was the day of our departure Emma started to feel a bit better!  She would actually drink and eat some things- thank goodness!  Here are pictues of the last few days of our trip- Enjoy!

Punta Cana Vacation Days 2, 3, and 4: June 24, 25, and 26

Days two, three, and four were pretty much the same- pool, beach, and tons of food!  We love going to all inclusives!  All the food and drinks are included in the price you pay at the beginning!  We totally enjoyed hanging around the pool during the day and going out to eat dinner at the different restaurants the hotel offers in the evening. We were with our best friends, their brother and wife, and their parents.  We were having so much fun!  Enjoy the pictures!
