I can't believe how time flies by! Emma has been home with us for nine months! Today was a wonderful day! Emma turned 2 years old! We celebrated her birthday at school which was lots of fun! All the kids ate mini cupcakes and drank apple juice. It was so cute to see Emma wearing a birthday crown and eating up the cupcakes! Yes- cupcakes- she ate two!!! We then made a stop at Kuts for Kids. Yep, you guessed it... Emma had her first haircut today! I couldn't believe how well she did! She sat in the chair the whole time by herself and didn't complain once! She of course loved the lollipop towards the end of her haircut. We even received a little paper with a token of her hair attached! Too cute! Then it was time to head back home. I changed her into her "birthday" outfit and awaited our guests- her nana, pop, tia, mimi, and Austin. She had a wonderful time eating Mc Donalds which was for the kids and of course Chinese food for the adults! She loved her gifts- especially the new shopping cart with tons of food items from her nana and pop! It was really cute watching her pushing that cart around the house and pretending to eat the food! Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better day! We LOVE you so much baby girl! HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY!
Here is Emma coming out of her classroom. She is the line leader.
She just noticed we were standing there!
Look at her eyes! She is staring at the candles!
This is the birthday card and hat her teachers made for her!
Yesterday was my "Big Boys" birthday! He turned a whopping 12 years old! Since it happened to fall on the weekend we decided to have a party with some of his friends from middle school and some of his little brothers friends from elementary school. Everyone had a great time! There was even a "wrestling round" in the bounce house- 4th graders against the 6th graders! Those 4th graders were really trying to give it their best! Some of the 6th graders even had marks on them to prove it! Emma of course had a BLAST! It was her first time in a bounce house! She jumped, slid, and rolled! She loved it! Now only one more birthday to go- Emma's which is in 4 days! Happy Birthday to my wonderful boys! Love you!

This morning it was raining so of course the kids wanted to play in the bounce house! They are totally soaking wet! But they had a great time playing!
