Fort Myers Beach

We are really loving staying here on Fort Myers Beach!  Our hotel is right on the beach and we also have a pool! The kids are enjoying all this fun in the sun!   We also met my college buddy-Kelly and her kids each day we were here.  Emma also had a playmate the first day- my friend was taking care of her neighbors daughter who happened to be the same age as Emma!  Can you believe the video of Emma?  She is a FISH!

Vacation Day 1 and 2

We began our vacation by driving to Crystal River Florida.  There we were going to be swimming with the manatees.  We were so excited!  However, we soon discovered that during the summer months, most of the manatees migrate to their homes.  So that meant... we searched for a couple of hours before "locating" a manatee.  We all quickly and quietly went into the super cold water-          73 degrees- and swam close to the one manatee.  It lasted all of 5 minutes!  That was it!  Then we headed back to the dock.  Our swim with the manatees was over!  Then we drove to Fort Myers Beach to begin the next part of our vacation- the BEACH!
