Day 2

Hello everyone!  We have finally made it to Beijing after over 27 hours of traveling.  Our 12 hour flight turned out to be great!  The flight was only half full which allowed all 5 of us our very own rows!  Needless to say we all slept pretty well for most of the flight.  Delta had a lot to offer as well!  We had our own television in the headrest in front of us which allowed for us to be able to watch movies, television, and even play games.  The best part- FREE!  They also provided dinner and breakfast with lots of snacks in between!  After arriving in Beijing, we went thru customs easily and saw our guide waiting for us.  We loaded the suitcases and ourselves in the van and headed for the hotel.  The hotel is very nice looking.  I was disappointed that we did not have adjoining rooms- which I was told we did on the reservation!  Oh well!  If that is the only "glitch" I can deal with it!  Anyways, I did not sleep well last night and was up at 4:30(we went to bed at 1:30).  Hopefully, after all the touring today I will sleep better.  Here are just a few pictures of our travels.
