Hi everyone! Yesterday I received our tentative itinerary while in Emma's province- Guangzhou! Here it is:
Jan. 29: Arrival in Guangzhou and check in to the Victory
Hotel.
Jan. 30: Receive Emma in the afternoon! (I'm not sure if we will actually get Emma today- I was told because of Chinese New Year that the civil affairs office would be closed today and therefore we would get Emma on the 31st)
Jan. 31: Legal registration in the morning.
Feb. 1: Passport application in the afternoon.
Feb. 2: Emma's medical check up.
Feb. 3: Local tour and shopping.
Feb. 4: Optional tour- I am hoping we will get to visit her orphanage.
Feb. 5: Day to rest and relax.
Feb. 6: Get Emma's passport and notary documents.
Feb. 7: Consulate appointment at 10:00am.
Feb. 8: Get Emma's visa.
Feb. 9: Depart Guangzhou for the USA!
Feb. 10: Arrival in Miami!
Please pray that all of us have a smooth transition!

Well it's the night before we travel and needless to say we are ALL really really excited and perhaps nervous as well. It was a busy day...we did our nails and our hair...last minute laundry and I made a last minute stop to pick up an outfit for the little ladybug. So off we go...picked up at five in the morning...I'm sure not much sleep tonight for any of us...pray for safe flights...on time flights and that our tushies won't be flat pancakes after sitting all those many hours. So long all...look for updates...come meet us at Delta on the 10th...at 6:40 am...see ya"!!!! Love, Nana
