Christmas

Christmas was extra special this year because we had our beautiful daughter to share it with us!  This was Emma's first official Christmas!  She seemed to really love it!  Who could blame her?  She enjoyed opening up all her presents, watching her brothers open up their presents, playing with her new kitchen, and zooming around in her new cars!  We went to our best friends house for Christmas eve dinner.  They have the most amazing tree ever!  It is huge and completely filled with lights and ornaments!  Emma was amazed just looking at it!  Emma opened up her first official Christmas presents there at her "tia's" house.  She received four pairs of high heeled shoes, a baby doll, and a stroller.  It was too cute to watch her push that baby doll in her "high" heels!

The following morning we opened up presents here at our house then ventured onto my moms house.  Nana had a delicious breakfast prepared for all of us.  Then we opened up some more presents at her house.  Emma received even more high heeled shoes and another baby doll with a stroller.  She also received a battery operated car.  She really likes it... however, she can't steer so you better watch OUT!

That night we went back to Nana's house for dinner.  We were so excited because my sister and her family had just come in from NY for a five day visit!  This was the first time Emma met her aunt, uncle, and cousins- except her cousin Rachel who she met over the summer.

All the kids had a wonderful evening.  Of course Rachel came home with us and stayed the next five nights along with her brothers Zach and Matthew!  Everyone had a blast!  It was so nice having my sister and her kids here with us for the holidays!

With our best friends Christmas eve.  Can you believe we were all wearing
red?  Great minds think alike! Look how HUGE this tree is!

  1. So glad you had a wonderful Christmas and was able to visit with family from out of town. Isn't it amazing how quickly the girls figured out the presents?! :)
