Birthdays!

My kids and hubby too are ALL Fall birthdays!  So September and October are pretty busy months here at our house.  Adam's birthday had to be celebrated the day after his birthday due to "Open House."  Remember, I am a teacher and couldn't miss going to open house.  However, he was pretty happy to celebrate it the following day as it was a Friday and everyone could stay later.  We finsihed celebrating "daddy's" birthday just the other day.   All he wanted was to eat at Olive Garden and then come home for ice cream cake.  Well, we did both but had a huge disappointment at Olive Garden.  We tried out the "new" Olive Garden that had just opened up right by us and sad to say that we had to WALK out after 2 HOURS without being served our dinner.  They just had no idea what to do or how to do it.  They must have been understaffed!  It took 20 minutes just to get our drinks!  Oh well- at least daddy had a yummy ice cream cake for dessert!

All is well here!  Emma is finally getting over her nasty cough.  Believe it or not being on the nebulizer treatment 3x a day for 17 days didn't even do the trick.  I brought her back to the pediatricians office where they prescribed her an antibiotic.  After only 4 days, she is doing much better.  Hopefully she will be cough free within the next couple of days.  She is still all smiles most of the time!  She seems to be enjoying school and hanging out with her new friends and working on projects.  I can't believe she will be turning "2" next month!  In nine days she will have been with our family for 8 months!  I can't believe how the time just flies right by!  I have enjoyed every minute of every day being with my little girl.  Enjoy the pictures!

I just can't get over:
How big she is getting!  How long her hair is!  That she knows where ALL her body parts are!  How much she loves her brothers, daddy, and mommy!
