Day 8

Hello everyone!  We had another pretty good day here in Guangzhou.  Emma is doing well.... she gets a little cranky when you sit with her- but when you stand- everything is okay!  So our backs are really starting to hurt.  I will be looking for a place to get a message soon!  Last night she slept all night in her crib!  What a good girl!  This morning we were able to relax and sleep in.  At 2:00pm our guide met us in the lobby and we walked to the medical exam office.  All babies need to be examined here.  There are three stations... 1. Someone checks her ears by squeezing a toy to see if she can hear and then they look in her ears.  2. Her head gets measured and her body is checked.  3.  Last, she gets measured in weight and height.  She was NOT a happy camper for any of it!  Then we went to the place to get her passport.  We were also given her official adoption certificate today!  Yeah!  After we came back to the hotel.  The boys all went to work out while Emma, Nana, and myself hung out in the hotel room.  When the boys got back we went to eat at the italian restaurant again.  This time we ordered only pizzas!  They were very good!  I am extremely tired so I am going to go to sleep!  Here are the pictures for today...

We are in the play room at the hotel.  Emma had a blast walking around!

Taking a nap with her "towel" aka security blanket!

Not a happy camper during the three different stations!

  3. I know you don't want to miss a beat with Emma but you might need to go an sleep in your moms room! Sounds like jet lag I kickin your behind an if you don't sleep it off you are going to get sick! That's something you don't want to do. Just one night sleep in another too
And let others take care of her so you can sleep a little while with no interruptions. She seem to be fine with everyone and that's A blessing so take advantage of all the wonderful hands that are there!! You should have a few lazy days before you get home so be lazy :) take care of momma!!!! I love tr pics!! How big is she????? Zoey was 24.2 lb at her medical check!
