Baby Shower!

On Sunday I had a beautiful baby shower given by my wonderful mom!  I of course wanted a "ladybug" theme!  So from there we planned, purchased, and made everything we needed for the special day.  We tied bows upon bows, put labels on the water bottles, and put all the food in  containers that matched the colors of my theme.  We started all this work a few months ago! Everything was set up on my patio- tables, chairs, a tent, and even paper lanterns were hanging!   The only thing that could have made this day even more special was to have Emma there to see it all!  Everything turned out more beautiful then I could have imagined!  Thanks for everyone who was there to share my special day with me!  And a special thanks to my husband-the love of my life, my two perfect boys, my mom who has ALWAYS been there for me, my friend Myrna who helped me set everything up, and my sister for flying down from New York!  Here are some pictures of the shower.  Hope you enjoy them!

    IT WAS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL DAY! STARTED OUT RAINY AND GREY BUT TURNED SUNNY, BREEZY AND NOT TOO HOT. EXTRA SPECIAL THAT MELIN WAS WITH US...WONDERFUL FAMILY AND THE BEST FRIENDS AND CO-WORKERS ANYONE COULD ASK FOR. YES...THE ONLY THING MISSING WAS OUR SWEET LITTLE LADYBUG, EMMA. SOON EMMA, SOON.     YES...THE FOOD WAS YUMMY...AND THERE WAS PLENTY OF IT. THE DESSERT TABLE WAS OUTRAGEOUS...ALL DIFFERENT "RED, WHITE AND BLACK" TO MATCH THE DECOR. IT WAS AMAZING. CUPCAKES...RED VELVET WITH CREAM CHEESE FROSTING...NATURALLY...RED AND WHITE! STRAWBERRIES WITH WHIPPED CREAM...WHAT MORE COULD YOU ASK FOR! NANA

    This looks AMAZING!!! I LOVE IT! Great pics! Wish there were some with your GOODIES!!! HAHAHA My shower was on Sunday too! How cool is that!!!!
    Anyway, it looked beautiful and I wish I could've been there to see it and participate!!! One day, we HAVE to get together! Can't wait til you are on that plane to get Emma!!! AHH!! Not too long now!!!

    Mind blowing arrangements! I have saved this post for help in future. A lot of baby showers are in line right now. I guess I am the only one who isn’t married and have no babies. All my friends are going to become mommies soon. I have booked a nice venue NYC for one of my friend’s baby shower party.
